Dr. Ilhan Yigit graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 2000. He completed his masters and doctoral degrees at Istanbul University, Department of Private Law. Dr. Ilhan Yigit’s master thesis was entitled “General Assemblies of Joint Stock Companies: How do they operate? What are the challenges?” The title of his PhD thesis was: “Liability for damages resulting from breaches of Competition Law.” Dr. Ilhan Yigit’s masters and PhD theses were also published as books. He also published numerous articles in peer reviewed and non-peer reviewed academic journals.

Dr. Ilhan Yigit has experience representing a broad range of local and multinational clients in all areas of commercial and corporate law, competition law and intellectual property law. Since 2003, he has been a lead legal advisor to well-known law firms and corporations.

Dr. İlhan Yigit speaks native Turkish, fluent English.
