Mr. Sinan Olcer is a highly accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various fields of law. In 2012, he obtained an LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle, UK. During the final year of his degree, he worked at the renowned Northumbria University Student Law Office where he was involved in live cases concerning Property Law and Civil Litigation for three months. Mr. Olcer conducted extensive research and provided advice under the supervision of qualified solicitors and barristers. He also regularly interviewed clients together with another student.

In recognition of the outstanding community work of the Student Law Office, Queen Elizabeth II presented Northumbria University School of Law with the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education in 2014.

In October 2014, Mr. Olcer completed his LL.M in International Trade Law with a Commendation from the University of Northumbria School of Law, Newcastle upon Tyne. His research-based Master’s degree focused on investigating whether Turkey should remain a signatory of The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG; the Vienna Convention).

After his undergraduate and graduate studies in the UK, Mr. Sinan Olcer successfully completed the Turkish Law Equivalency exams and obtained a Turkish Law Equivalency Diploma from Dokuz Eylul University.

With his diverse background in law, Mr. Olcer’s main areas of experience include Contract law, international sales contracts, Intellectual property law, Labour law, International commercial law, International arbitration, Energy law, and Enforcement and bankruptcy law. Mr. Olcer is a native Turkish speaker and is fluent in English, as well as proficient in Spanish and Italian.
